It all began with a group of musicians obsessed with music, especially jazz. During gigs and rehearsals, they repeatedly ran into a common headache: most audio gear failed to reproduce the unique tonal essence of jazz. Many so-called high-fidelity systems fell short of capturing the subtle vocal inflections of blues, while the silky smooth texture of brush strokes on snare drums often came out harsh and garbled. Worse still, when musicians improvised and interwove their parts, typical equipment would cause certain instrumental layers to jump out jarringly, ruining the signature interactive atmosphere that defines jazz.

Over time, we came to a realization: the perfect sound system ought to act as the sixth member of the band. Unable to find commercial gear that matched our creative standards, we set out to develop audio equipment tailored specifically to the sonic characteristics of jazz.
